Efficient multi-sample parallel evaporation
The Syncore® Polyvap allows parallel evaporation of 4 to 96 samples, using six exchangeable racks, available as optional extras. These make it possible to carry out reactions and evaporations ranging in volume from 0.5 to 500 ml. The evaporation rate can be controlled and observed using the V-855 vacuum controller and the V-700 diaphragm pump.
Due to its variable orbital shaking, boiling retardation is prevented during evaporation. In addition, the possibility of cross-contamination is eliminated by a specially designed vacuum cover. The cover can be heated to up to 70°C, making it possible to evaporate even high-boiling solvents such as DMF or DMSO under mild conditions.
NEW: Rack for PSE and ASE vials for 24 positions
When performing parallel liquid extractions under high pressure (PSE or ASE), a large number of samples accumulates in a short period of time. Thus the process rate determining step shifts from sample extraction to sample concentration. We therefore launch a new rack for simultaneous evaporation of 24 PSE or ASE vials.
In contrast to nitrogen-blow-down systems, evaporation with Syncore is in agreement with ISO 14000 which guarantees an environmentally sound operation of the instrument.

Application field
All relevant parts of the Polyvap are chemically resistant and free of contaminants, ideal for applications with aggressive chemicals. In contrast to Nitrogen-blow-down systems, with Syncore far more than 90% of the solvent is recovered, minimizing harmful effects on the environment as proposed by ISO 14000.
List of selected Syncore Polyvap applications:
- Parallel evaporation of chromatography samples
- Parallel evaporation of extraction samples from PSE or ASE extractions
- Parallel evaporation for gravimetric analysis in quality control.
